Pinterest for the Cancer Registry Student

If you’re a cancer registry student in school today, I envy you for having Pinterest right at your fingertips. I *almost* wish I could go back and do it all over again just so I could use Pinterest to get organized and keep track of all of the great resources out there!

Maybe that’s why I find it so rewarding to use Pinterest in my career with CHAMPS Oncology. I am always pinning resources with the cancer registry student in mind. And over the years, our healthcare-centered Pinterest page has become a wealth of information containing:

  • Detailed diagrams of anatomy, cancer sites and staging.
  • Research on medical treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiation.
  • Videos that convey what cancer is, how cancer is diagnosed and treatment options.
  • Webinars that supplement classroom learning.
  • Specific Pinterest boards for:
    - Breast, Lung and Colon Cancer Information
    - AJCC Staging
    - Standard Setters

Our Pinterest boards make it easy for the cancer registry student to conduct research on cancer-related subjects quickly and efficiently, as the information is all collected in one place. But our boards are also a great resource for educators who want to find information to share with their students and for current CTRs looking to advance in their cancer registry career.

Have you visited our Pinterest page lately? What board do you find most useful?

I love pins about time management, especially for students!! Also the Pinterest page has been a blessing for me as a student of CIM program 👍. Thank you CHAMPS for your help and encouragement.
